NUNAVUT - Peregrine Diamonds of Vancouver has discovered a third kimberlite at its Qilaq project on Baffin Island. The Q3 kimberlite was drilled with angled reverse circulation holes within a anomalous magnetic low with an estimated surface expression of 2.5 ha.
The company announced the discovery of the Q1 and Q2 diamondiferous kimberlites at Qilaq in 2010.
Peregrine is also busy at the nearby Chidliak property, testing it with reverse circulation drilling. At the beginning of 2011, there were 58 kimberlitic bodies at that project.
