Air-tool antifreeze
Most air tool and pneumatic control users are unaware that air lines can freeze at up to plus 40° F. As air pressure drops from 100 psi down to atmosphere through the tool or valve, the compressed air, which is always at 100% humidity, super cools rapidly and can freeze up the equipment.
To help prevent this, Polar-Lube a lubricant that replaces the regular fluid in the FRL unit and prevents this from occurring. It will protect air lines down to minus 60°F. Adding it to a frozen tool inlet will also unfreeze the tool.
The lubricant will not harm “o” rings, seals, rotor blades, bowls or hoses and is compatible with all manufacturers’ drop, mist or automatic lubricators.
