Atlas Copco’s Scooptram ST1030 is a machine offering increased productivity and better fuel efficiency thanks to new ground-engaging tools and a new generation bucket that is lighter and shorter.

Tests of the new third generation bucket (GIII) and Atlas Copco’s Ground Engaging Tools (GET) have resulted in operating times in a test muck pile being cut by seven per cent while fuel consumption was reduced by eight per cent.

The bucket’s GETs are bolted onto the front edge of the bucket, and sometimes also to the sides, in order to increase the bucket’s ability to attack and penetrate different muck pile formations.
