MONTREAL - Drilling specialist Fordia has launched a new HeroTM 11 diamond coring drill bit to withstand the toughest ground including basalt, felsics and volcanic rocks. Grounds like these call for an extremely sharp matrix, and that's precisely what the HERO 11 delivers. In a single thrust, it responds with more bite than a lower-level matrix.
Tests in Australia put the tenacity of the HERO 11 on display. "Clients will be glad to hear about the launch of this new matrix, which takes on the hardest ground types without hesitation," says Charlie Younger, manager of Fordia's three outlets in Australia.
The latest addition to the Hero line comes with a 13-mm diamond impregnation height and offers an outstanding penetration/lifetime ratio.
Fordia employs some 220 people in Canada and throughout the world. The company has branches and distributors in some 30 countries. For further information about Fordia, please visit www.Fordia.com.
