Canadian oil consumption has grown 33% since 2003 and is estimated to be 2.3 million bbl/day in 2010. If oil sands production grows to 3.5 million by 2020, as some analysts believe, the domestic oil supply will more than meet our needs. Last week's question concerned how CMJ readers make their decisions about investing in gold. We had only seven responses, which leads me to believe our readers are too busy mining gold to be investing in it.
