NORTHWEST TERRITORIES - North American Tungsten Corp. of Vancouver has decided to restart production in at its CanTung tungsten mine near the Yukon border. Mining has been suspended since October 2009 due to low prices and weak demand. The company used the period of suspension to identify operational improvements and upgrade systems in both the mine and mill.

When mining was suspended, the CanTung deposit had indicated resources of 1.5 million tonnes grading 1.27% WO3 and probable mineral reserves of 1.0 million tonnes grading 1.08% WO3 in multiple zones.

When production resumes in October 2010, the CanTung mine will once again be the western world's largest mine supplier of tungsten concentrates. Please see www.NorthAmericanTungsten.com.
