HOT TOPIC: Which metal has gained most?

Here we are at the half-way point of the year, so let us consider metal prices. CMJ readers are invited to answer the question: Which non-ferrous metal has had the biggest price increase since the beginning of this year?

Last week: Once again CMJ readers have supplied a level-headed opinion on last week's question. Should MSHA shoulder some of the liability for the blast at the Upper Big Branch coal mine that killed 29 workers? Sixty per cent say the agency's liability should be limited to the extent that its orders to reduce ventilation at the face can be shown to have contributed to the explosion. The other 40% were evenly split between wanting MSHA to be totally responsible or not at all responsible.
