Veteran Joins CMJ Team
CMJ Editor Russ Noble is pleased to announce the appointment of Brill Braden to the position of Northern Correspondent for the magazine.
Bill is a veteran Northern writer and photographer who has lived in Yellowknife and Whitehorse since 1964 and brings with him a wide range of business and communications experience to the magazine.
As a Mining and Labour reporter for the News/North and Yellowknifer newspapers in the early 1990s, Bill covered the rise of the diamond discoveries in the NWT and earned editorial awards for his coverage of events during this time period.
Braden also served in the NWT Legislative Assembly as MLA for the Yellowknife riding of Great Slave (1999-2007) and most recently earned a diploma in commercial and digital photography in Vancouver.
Bill lives in Yellowknife.
