TORONTO — Barrick Gold subsidiary Barrick Australia Finance is offering US$1.25 billion in debt securities. Included are 4.95% notes worth US$400 million due in 2020 and 5.95% notes worth US$850 million due in 2039. The net proceeds from the offering will be advanced to Barrick subsidiaries and also used to further reduce Barrick's floating spot-price gold contracts.
