SASKATCHEWAN — Claude Resources of Saskatoon says that Q3 production from its Seabee gold mine 125 km northeast of La Ronge was 80% higher than the previous quarter. The mine produced 14,000 oz of gold in Q3.
The company expects to meet its guidance of 46,000 to 48,000 oz in 2009. It is mining from the Seabee Deep, the Santoy 7 satellite deposit and a bulk sampling program at its Porky West property. The Seabee mill began commercial production in December 1991. The mill expects to treat 228,400 tonnes of ore grading 6.46 g/t Au this year.
