If (and it is a big "if") the Canadian government were to bail out the junior mining sector, how much money would be enough to allow them to continue their exploration activities during the current economic downturn?
Remember there are 2,000 or more exploration companies in the junior sector. Assume that any amount the government might allocate would be split equally among them with the provision that it be spent in Canada. Would a million dollars each ($2 billion total) do the job? More? Less?
