Contract maintenance and assembly for the mining community
Edmonton, Alta.-based Patriot Resources Ltd. provides “on-site” equipment maintenance and assembly services for a broad customer base that includes internationally renowned OEMs and suppliers of heavy, used mining equipment.
Patriot was established in 2001 and is headed by Brian Joseph, a licensed heavy duty mechanic with over 13 years experience in the industry. The company has done contract field service work for active open-pit coal, gold, copper, diamond, uranium and oil sand mines, mineral exploration projects, oil/gas pipelines and other large civil construction projects.
Patriot’s work, as a participant contractor, has included a remote mountain access “fly-in” mining equipment assembly project at Galore Creek, and field assembly of mine haul trucks at the remote Kemess gold mine, both in British Columbia. Other projects have included equipment repair and maintenance for the re-activation of the Gibraltar copper/ molybdenum mine in B. C., and field services for the maintenance and repair of civil construction and earthmoving equipment of a large Edmonton-based earthworks contracting company. Service for a leading U. S.- based used heavy equipment company included a project to co-ordinate the dismantling and load-out of multiple heavy units. Patriot’s experience embraces a broad portfolio of heavy equipment including Caterpillar, Euclid, Terex, Hitachi, Ingersoll-Rand, and Link-Belt makes of haul trucks, excavators, dozers, scrapers, shovels, drills, side-booms and graders.
Patriot Resources’ services include planning, co-ordination and implementation for remote equipment assembly, maintenance, repair, decommissioning and dismantling projects, including fly-in locations.
