Aurora Energy Resources of Vancouver says Donald Falconer has joined the company as vice-president corporate development. He recently resigned from SXR Uranium One.
Jason Stevens is the new executive vice-president of legal and corporate affairs as well as corporate secretary of Breakwater Resources. Daniel Goffaux has rejoined the company as vice-president for Latin America.
Jonathan Awde has been appointed executive vice-president and director at Britannica Resources of Malartic, Que.
Doublestar Resources of Vancouver has named Paul Gray its next president and COO. He had been the company’s vice-president exploration. Alan Savage, the former president, will continue his role as CEO and chairman. The company added Michael Collins to its board upon the resignation of James Watt and Paul Saxton.
Vancouver-headquartered Fortuna Silver Mines has added two new faces to its management team. Tom Vehrs has become vice-president exploration and Arturo Salvador is now manager of mining operations.
Glencairn Gold of Toronto has named Graham Speirs its new COO. He will reside in Managua, Nicaragua, and oversee the optimization and expansion of the company’s three mines.

Vancouver’s Mundoro Mining reports that Colin McAleenan has resigned as a director, CEO and chairman of the company. Robert van Doorn, the president, has taken up the duties of CEO. The search for a new chairman is underway.
The new vice-president operations at Toronto’s North American Palladium is David Passfield. His experience includes management of the Diavik diamond mine and consulting on production and maintenance planning, equipment selection and throughput optimization.
Stephen McGibbon will assume the duties of executive vice-president and COO at Premier Gold Mines of Thunder Bay, Ont. Matt Long becomes manager of Premier’s Red Lake gold projects.
