Vancouver’s Alamos Gold has named John McCluskey president as well as CEO. John Van De Beuken becomes VP and chief of operations. As well, Leonard Harris has been appointed to fill one of two vacancies on the board.
Cornerstone Capital Resources of Mount Pearl, Nfld., has appointed Jonathan Challis its new president. Former president Glen H. McKay will continue to carry out his duties as CEO and a director.
Dr. C. Timothy (Tim) Williams is the new COO at Montreal-based Explorations Minires du Nord. He has 20 years in the South American and African mining industries and as a mining analyst in London, U.K.
Former Ontario cabinet minister Chris Hodgson has been named special advisor to the CEO at Inter-Citic Mineral Technologies. Toronto-based Inter-Citic is a gold exploration company with properties in China.
Cameron White has been appointed president and CEO of MBA Gold, replacing Dr. Peter Guest, whose consulting agreement has ended.
Ren R. Galipeau has been named non-executive chairman of Nuinsco Resources of Toronto. Galipeau developed his expertise in mine finance, marketing and corporate development over 30 years in both Canada and the United States. He has also served on many committees with the Mining Association of Canada and the mining associations of Ontario, Quebec and Manitoba.
Following the retirement of John Royall, Pacific North West Capital has named a new VP of business development, Peter Dasler. Scott Jobin-Bevans has left his position as VP exploration with the company, becoming project manager for the River Valley development near Sudbury.
Wardrop has a new president, Brent Thompson, and a new VP of mining, Ian Pritchard.
