Correction: Agnico-Eagle’s Assets Higher

We regret that some of the figures for Agnico-Eagle Mines Ltd. were listed incorrectly in our “Top 40 Mining Companies” article (CMJ, August 2000). Assets were erroneously listed as far less than their value. Agnico-Eagle’s assets (in Canadian dollars) for 1999 were $435.46 million and for 1998 were $415.51 million. Last year, revenue was $47.52 million and the net loss $21.72 million. Corresponding figures for 1998 were $69.73 million and $11.06 million.
