NEWFOUNDLAND — Cornerstone Capital Resources (50%) of Mount Pearl, NL, and partner Thundermin Resources (50% and operator) of Toronto have intersected what they call a "substantial thickness" of copper sulphide at their Little Deer property 10 km north of Springdale. The intercept grades 2.7% Cu over a 46.6 metres, including 4.7% Cu over 16.6 metres. The true thicknesses of these intervals have yet to be determined.
The Little Deer property includes the former Whalesback mine, Little Deer copper deposit, Duck Pond zinc-gold showing, plus other base metals and gold occurrences.
Maps of the project and additional drilling results are available at www.CornerstoneResources.com.
