VANCOUVER WARDROP ENGINEERING has been awarded the detailed engineering design and procurement contract for TERRANE METALS' Mt. Milligan copper-gold project 155 km northwest of Prince George, B.C. Wardrop recently completed the feasibility study for the project that involves a conventional truck-and-shovel open pit mine and 60,000 t/d copper concentrator.
Construction startup, subject to financing and regulatory approvals, is scheduled for Q3 2009; commercial production would follow in Q1 2012. Details are posted at www.TerraneMetals.com.
