MINING PEOPLE IN THE NEWS – Agnico-Eagle, Centerra Gold, NWT Uranium and Romios Gold

AGNICO-EAGLE MINES of Toronto has added Clifford J. Davis, J. Merfyn Roberts and David A. Garofalo to its board of directors.

Stephen A Lang has joined the board and been promoted to the post of president and CEO at Toronto-based CENTERRA GOLD. He replaces Leonard A. Homeniuk who has retired. As well, Jeffrey S. Parr has been promoted to CFO.

Toronto's NWT URANIUM CORP. has asked John P. Lynch, a director, to become the company's president and CEO. He succeeds Marek Kreczmer who resigned but will continue to hold a seat on the advisory board.

ROMIOS GOLD of Toronto has named Brian E. Robertson to its board.
