BOLIVIA - Vancouver-based SOUTH AMERICAN SILVER has received the initial NI-43-101 numbers on its Malku Khota silver-indium property in the west-central part of the country. An indicated resource of 48.5 tonnes grading 32.0 g/t Ag and 5.9 g/t In (using a 10 g/t Ag cutoff) has been outlined. That tonnage may contain 50.2 million oz of silver and 288,000 kg of indium. There is also an inferred resource of 99.6 million tonnes grading 23.0 g/t Ag and 4.9 g/t In (another 74.7 million oz of silver and 487,000 kg of indium).

The report covered mineralization from a portion of the Limosna and Wara Wara zones. This resource does not yet include drilling from much of the Limosna higher grade enrichment mineralization and none from the new Sucre zone, said the company.

The Malku Khota property includes historic gold and silver workings, some of which date back to Colonial Spanish times.
