NEW POLL: Consulting with environmental advocates

The comments from Monte Hummel of WORLD WILDLIFE FUND CANADA to members of Ontario's parliament and mining industry representatives at the recent Meet the Miners reception suggest that the mining industry needs to build a broader base of understanding and support in society. The question for our new poll is: "Do mining and exploration companies do enough consultation with environmental advocates?" The last poll ("Can mining companies afford to remain as a volatile, high-risk part of an investor's portfolio?") ran for a week and a half, with about 80% voting Yes, and 20% voting No. Thanks to all who took part.
