BASF UNDERGROUND CONSTRUCTION of Cleveland, Ohio, has appointed Mike Rispin as the global head of mining. He is a graduate of McGill University and an expert in the application of wet sprayed concrete for ground support. He will be based in Zurich, Switzerland.
The new executive chairman of Vancouver's GOLD HAWK RESOURCES is Colin Benner. He is a previous president of Breakwater Resources. Former Gold Hawk chairman Gordon Bub will remain with the company as vice-chairman.
