ONTARIO - LIBERTY MINES of Timmins has intersected a 19.46-metre section of core that assayed 1.10% Co, 0.77% Cu and 10.40 g/t Ag at its McAra Lake project, 120 km southeast of the city. Some holes returned even better cobalt intersections, albeit over shorter lengths. One assayed 6.93% Co over 0.48 metre, another 9.62% Co over 1.10 metres and 8.38% Co over 0.97 metre.
The McAra Lake prospect has received only limited drilling, but Liberty Mines says it contains veins typically grading about 10% Co and 1% Cu. Visit www.LibertyMines.com to view a photo of the outcrop.
