MANITOBA - CROWFLIGHT MINERALS of Toronto has intersected 8.47 metres of material grading 3.60% Ni from its Bucko deposit in the Thompson Nickel Belt. Included in the intersection was a 2.16-metre section that graded 11.65% Ni. The core came from mineralized ultramafic rock roughly 650 metres below surface.
Crowflight continues to drill, hoping to add from 500,000 to 1 million additional tonnes of indicated resources. An estimate made late last year of the Bucko resources put the indicated tonnage at 1.80 million tonnes at 2.1% Ni. An additional 1.60 million tonnes at 1.9% Ni was placed in the inferred category. Together the indicated and inferred resources may contain over 150 million lb of nickel.
A surface plan and longitudinal section of the Bucko drilling program are attached to the press release of July 18 posted at www.Crowflight.com.
