There is a new president and CEO of DIAVIK DIAMOND MINES, Joe Carrabba. He comes from Rio Tinto's Comalco Aluminum in Australia. He also worked at Rio Tinto operations in the United States, Europe and Asia.
SUNCOR ENERGY has appoint J. Kenneth (Ken) Alley its new senior VP and CFO, effective July 1, 2003. Alley is currently Suncor's VP of finance and will fill the position to be vacated by Steve Williams, who is moving to Fort McMurray, Alberta, as executive VP Oil Sands.
Clifford Davis has been elected to TIBERON MINERALS' board of directors. Davis is currently chairman of Geomaque Exploration and held executive positions at Gabriel Resources, TVX Gold, and Echo Bay Mines. He is a graduate of the Royal School of Mines in London, U.K.
TITANIUM CORP. has announced the appointment of Douglas Miller as VP of research and development. He will oversee the operation of the company's bench-scale metallurgical testing facility at Dalhousie University in Halifax.
GEMCOM SOFTWARE has named Garth R. Albright its new CFO and corporate secretary. He replaces Donald Leslie, who has left the company to pursue other opportunities.
