EMERALD EXPLORATION Firestone Begins Work Near Finlayson Lake

YUKON FIRESTONE VENTURES of Edmonton has begun its 2004 field season in the Finlayson Lake area. The company has an option to earn a 60% interest in the Straw, Lion, Meg and Rusty properties belonging to TRUE NORTH GEMS. The properties cover 4,786 hectares only 7 km from the Regal Ridge emerald discovery.

Firestone plans to spend approximately $50,000 during August on intensive prospecting and sampling on its highest priority targets at the Straw-Lion property. An overview of last year's exploration results are available on the company's website at www.firestoneventures.com.
