On Oct. 29, MIRAMAR MINING CORP. reported the death of an employee at its Con gold mine in Yellowknife, N.W.T. Cecil Martin was crushed between a loader and a pick-up truck on surface. He had been a full-time carpenter at the mine since 1987.
