GEM VALUATION NEWS EGL Opens in Toronto

TORONTO The EUROPEAN GEMOLOGICAL LABORATORY (EGL) has opened the first full-service facility of its kind in Toronto. The lab offers professional gemstone identification, certification and validation for trade professionals and the public. It will assess mounted or loose diamonds plus pearls, jade and coloured gems. EGL can provide country of origin for colored gems and is the only lab in North American that grades and certifies rough diamonds.
