TORONTO – Kinross Gold Corp. is the top mining company on Maclean's new list of Top 50 most socially responsible companies in Canada. The list was determined by the magazine in partnership with Sustainalytics.
The Top 50 rankings appear in the June 15, 2015, issue of Maclean's. Kinross's inclusion comes just a few days after the company was named one of Canada's Best 50 corporate citizens for the sixth consecutive year by Corporate Knights.
Other mining companies on the Maclean's list include Teck Resources, IamGold Corp., Goldcorp and New Gold. Cameco Corp. and Suncor Energy were included in the energy and utilities category.

Kinross has also been listed on the Jantzi sustainability index prepared by Sustainalytics since 2007.
