YUKON – Comstock Metals of Vancouver has intersected near surface gold mineralization at its QV project in the White Gold District. The longest intersection began at 88 metres below surface, and averaged 1.01 g/t Au over a core length of 57.15 metres.

The second longest intersection was 0.40 g/t over 43.50 metres beginning at 187 metres below the surface. This length of drill core also included 0.82 g/t over 9.33 metres, 0.24 g/t over 7.99 metres and 0.45 g/t over 13.32 metres.

Comstock says the results of recent drilling have substantially expanded the footprint of the VG zone, which remains open in all directions.

Updated plan maps and cross-sections of the VG zone are posted at Comstock-Metals.com.
